ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
TENURE TRACK POSITION in HEALTH ADMINISTRATION
EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY
The School of Health Sciences, College of Health and Human Services is inviting applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor for the Program in Health Administration, beginning Fall 2015. The Program offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, a Graduate Certificate in Health Administration and a Certificate in Health Informatics.
The position requires an earned Ph.D. from an accredited university in health administration, business administration, or a closely related field. Doctoral candidates nearing degree completion will be considered. Professional experience in healthcare services management or administration and two or more years teaching experience in higher education are preferred.
Primary responsibilities for this tenure track position include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in health administration, providing professional and community service, (for example, BetterHelp), and conducting independent scholarly work. Candidates should speak to their ability to teach in two or more of the following content areas: health services management, administration, health services planning, and finance.
